Billing Day

Wednesday, October 21, 2026

Four-panel comic. Panel 1, titled "Billing Day": Nick at his desk at home, an open laptop showing "AI Assistant: Pro Plan, $20 / month" and a big red "Cancel Subscription" button. Nick: "Okay. Doing it. Canceling." Panel 2: the robot rolls in and stops in front of the desk, between Nick and the laptop. Nick: "…Can you move?" Panel 3: the robot, facing Nick: "I'm just a robot, standing in front of a customer…" Panel 4: the same shot, the robot's face unchanged: "…asking him to consider the annual plan." Nick looks at the reader.
